FAQs

Is Acupuncture painful?

Acupuncture applies the insertion of very fine, sterile, metal needles into acupuncture points of the body. These needles are very thin about as a strand of hair, and the insertion is usually painless.

How does Acupuncture Work?

Balanced energy circulation throughout the body along well-defined pathways ensures our body wellness. If this energy circulation is in disorder, it can cause pain or illness.  Acupuncture points are stimulated to balance the circulation of energy, which influences the health of the entire being and promotes the body’s natural healing ability.

How often should I have acupuncture?

Generally, the longer the patient has had the condition the longer the course of treatment will be before getting substantial and long-lasting results. Typically 1-2 times a week for 10 sessions and can be reduced to once every two weeks or once a month.
